We believe in the triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each person being equal, yet there being not three Gods, but one. Genesis 1:1; John 10:30; 4:24.
We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings and they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life. II Timothy 3:16, 17.
We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned and thereby incurred, not only physical death, but also that spiritual death which is separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, and are sinners in thought, word, and deed, and are lost without Christ. Genesis 1:27; Romans 5:12; I Corinthians 15:22.
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary and is true God and true Man. Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18, 23; Colossians 2:9. That He died for our sins, according to the scriptures, as a representation and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe on Him are justified on the single grounds of faith in His shed blood as the only atonement for sins. Acts 13:38, 39; Romans 4:25; Galatians 2:16; Ephesians 2:8, 9, Romans 3:25; Hebrews 9:12, 22; I Peter 1:18, 19.
We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into heaven and His present life there for us as High Priest and Advocate. Luke 24:1-43; Acts 2:32; Romans 1:4; Hebrews 7:25, 26.
We believe the Holy Spirit is a person who convicts the world of sin, and regenerates, indwells, enlightens, and empowers the saved. John 16:8-13; Acts 1:8; I Corinthians 3:16. And that Satan, a fallen angel, is the god of this age, the adversary of Christ and His Church and that his destiny is eternal punishment. Job 1:6, 7; II Corinthians 4:4; Revelation 20:2, 10.
We believe that all who through repentance and faith receive the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Saviour are born again by the Word and the Spirit and hereby become the children of God. John 3:5; I Peter 1:23; I John 3:1. All who have been born into the family of God are sealed by the Holy Spirit and preserved unto the day of redemption. Psalms 37:28; John 10:28, 29; Romans 8:35-39; Ephesians 1:13, 14; I Peter 1-5.
We believe that Jesus Christ instituted the Lord’s Supper to commemorate His death till He comes. We believe in baptism by immersion as an ordained testimony, portraying the believer’s union with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. I Corinthians 10:16; 11:26; Matthew 28:19, 20; Mark 16:16; I Peter 3:21.
We believe that the church of Jesus Christ was begun at Pentecost, is composed solely of believers; is the body and the bride of Christ, is distinct from Israel. We believe that God is sovereign in the bestowment of all His gifts; and that the gifts of evangelists, pastors, and teachers are sufficient for the perfecting of the saints today. Ephesians 2:19-22; Colossians 1:18; Matthew 16:17; Ephesians 4:7-12; I Corinthians chapter 12.
We believe in “That blessed hope” the premillennial, personal and imminent coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in the air for His saints which shall be followed by the personal, visible and glorious return of Christ to the earth with His saints to execute judgment and reign in righteousness. John 14:3; I Thessalonians 4:14-17; Zechariah 14; Jude 15, 15; Revelation 5:10.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust; the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting punishment of the lost. John 5:28, 29; Revelation 20:4-15.
We believe that all the saved should live in such a manner as not to bring reproach upon their Saviour and Lord; and , that separation from all religious apostasy, all worldly and sinful pleasures, practices and associations is a command of God. II Timothy 3:1-5; Romans 12:1, 2; 14:13; I John 2:15-17; II John vs. 9-11; II Corinthians 6:14-7:1.
We believe the obligation of the saved is to witness by life and word to these truths and to proclaim the Gospel to the entire world. Acts 1:8; II Corinthians 5:20.
